I have always been struck the strong compositions that Veronese used, they illustrate how a well constructed composition allows eye travel visiting details and motives whilst never letting your vision wander of the canvas.

Whenever I travel back to London I visit the National Gallery to view the Veronese Allegory of Love in the Veronese gallery.
